President
A first-generation wine owner, Allen Lombardi leads the team with an entrepreneurial spirit laced with authenticity, determination, and Italian charm. His two decades of experience with California grapes, winemaking, bottling, and storage provide the company with smart business sense, creativity, and innovation.
Noel Basso
director of Winemaking
A California native, Noel Basso studied food science and enology at California State University. He brings 20 years of winemaking experience, including overseeing barreling programs, harvesting scheduling, cellar operations, and maintaining quality consistency across wine profiles.
John White
Director of sales
John White brings a healthy perspective to wine sales, having spent time on the distributor and producer sides. Today, he leads domestic sales strategy, working with wholesale leadership and key decision-makers at fine-wine retailers and restaurants.
Steve Merritt
International Sales Manager
Steve Merritt leads global sales and partners with importers/exporters, distributors and retailers in Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, England and more. His background includes ten years with Oak Ridge Winery, where he led international sales. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Air Force. Our company salutes Steve, active-duty military, veterans and their families. Thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country.

John Verette
Central Regional Manager
John is from South Texas and has over 16 years of Wine & Spirits experience. Spending time on both the distribution and supplier side he brings a well rounded point of view. With a young family his current hobby is going to youth baseball and volleyball games.
Natalie Hubbard
Western Regional Manager
Natalie brings 18 years of experience in the adult beverage industry and has curated a lasting reputation in the sales world. Previous experience includes Bacardi USA, Moet Hennessy and a number of start-up wine brands. A California Native and a Jeep Enthusiast, Natalie brings energy and innovation to the team.
Donna Popkin
Southeast Regional Manager
Donna joins the team with over 25 years of experience curating a cast adult beverage portfolio including: independent, chain, on premise, club stores as well as cruise channels. A Florida Native, Donna spends her free time enjoying boating, pilates, and, of course, sharing food and amazing wines with friends and family.
Gerry Catanzano
Northeast Regional Manager
A resident of Long Island, Gerry brings with him close to 30 years of experience in the Adult Beverage Industry, both in supplier and distributor roles. Gerry has extensive knowledge in brand building, training and developing sales teams, and educating people about the rewards of proper food and wine pairings.
AJ Lombardi
Sales Manager
AJ Lombardi has grown up in the wine business and has worn many hats within winemaking, bottling, packaging and storage. He’s now enjoying a different aspect of the industry, handling sales and events along the West Coast.

Michael Terranova, a longstanding member since September 2023, boasts a lifelong connection with Thomas Allen's core values. With a primary focus on the New Jersey market, he extends his reach across the East Coast, skillfully managing sales and events.
